Building Regulation Services

Building regulations must be met by all habitable structures and plans and specification will be required on any commercial structures prior to the start of works. We work with an independent improved inspector as well as the local authority building control if requested by the client. This process requires our designs to be fully detailed with a general specification to gain building regulations approval only. The design detailing will be checked against the current parts of the building regulations which look at the structure, access, thermal elements and more. These detail plans allow contractors to more accurately price the proposed works and are critical to forming a building works contract. Most designs would require input from a structural engineer and potentially and energy assessor.
